Golden Arable is in need of a Farmworker with zeal, passion, and dedication, who will be responsible for planting, maintaining, and harvesting the following crops: Plantains, yams, cocoyam, pepper, ekong obong, and watermelon.

Duties

• Harvest and inspect crops.

• Irrigate farm soil and maintain ditches or pipes and pumps

• Operate and service farm machinery and tools.

• Spray fertilizer or pesticide solutions to control insects, fungi, and weeds.

• Record information about crops, such as pesticide use, yields, or costs.

• Dig and plant seeds, or transplant seedlings.

• Identify plants, pests, and weeds to determine the selection and application of pesticides and fertilizers.

• Inform other farmworkers or farm manager of crop progress.

• Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops.

• Direct and monitor the work of casual and seasonal help during planting and harvesting.

Minimum qualification

• Applicant should have obtained at least a GCE ordinary level.

• Applicant must exhibit good communication skills.
